Our Pre-K children are introduced to the more structured routine of a classroom environment. Within this setting children work in small groups with instructors. Our low teacher- to-student ratio in pre-K allows for each child’s unique learning and socializing skills to be addressed and developed.

In pre-school we concentrate on readiness for kindergarten and stress social growth. The KLEP (Kindergarten Level Education Program)
emphasizes reading readiness, early math skills and learning through
scientific observation.

All classrooms, from the toddler room through pre-k4, are equipped with child-friendly computers and age- appropriate software for the children to use daily.
Along with academic preparation, enrichment programs are available to children at this pre-school level, including:

• Weekly musical instruction with a certified music teacher
• Creative rhythm and movement with a certified dance instructor
• Gymnastics
• Spanish
• Optional computer instruction with a licensed facilitator
